When storing and transporting castanets, it is important that they are protected from bumps and temperature changes. Castanet bags have two individual compartments to prevent castanets from bumping or rubbing against each other. The best material for the bags are natural fibers such as virgin wool, which both protect from heat and cold and cushion.
The small Berlin manufactory Diseno-C produces castanet bags from whale loden (100% virgin wool) according to their own design. They are available in many different colors and models: quite plain, with felted or appliqued motifs. Personal wishes of the customers in design and execution are gladly implemented.
Amparo de Triana uses only these bags and has a variety of different designs.
