1. How do I develop ideas and improvise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. How do I create a castanet part?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How do I write a castanet part in bigram notation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Castanets notation in bigrams: what is notated where and how?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. What criteria should be considered and what doesn’t work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Rhythm, rhythm, rhythm \u2026..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The basics of developing a castanet part and castanet notation will be discussed, tried out and practised. The focus will be on rhythms, time signatures, articulations, dynamics<\/strong> and the various playing techniques<\/strong> used in castanet playing. We will work with many different musical styles and try to develop a short or longer castanet part ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castanet parts developed by course participants can be submitted. I will then tranfer them into notation software. They can then be played back and discussed.With single ticket or ticket for ten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
