The basics of developing a castanet part and castanet notation will be discussed, tried out and practised. The focus will be on rhythms, time signatures, articulations, dynamics<\/strong> and the various playing techniques<\/strong> used in castanet playing. We will work with many different musical styles and try to develop a short or longer castanet part ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Castanet parts developed by course participants can be submitted. I will then tranfer them into notation software.
