ABOUT THE ARTISTS…
… Amparo de Triana is a flamenco dancer and concert castanet player. She has performed and toured extensively with her own flamenco programs, and concerts as a concert castanet virtuoso.
… Yoshimi Ogawa is a concert pianist. She studied at the Freiburg Conservatory with Professor Barth and gives concerts in Germany and Japan. She discovered her passion for flamenco four years ago and came into contact with completely new harmonies, rhythms and sounds for the first time.
Amparo de Triana and Yoshimi Ogawa met through flamenco and gave a concert in Berlin at the end of last year with great success. After the Berlin concert, Yoshimi Ogawa feels it is his duty to introduce the fantastic Amparo de Triana to the Freiburg audience.
